We’ve all felt embarrassed at some point. Even though it’s an unpleasant sensation, there are instances when it can shield us from even more embarrassing circumstances or keep us from further embarrassing ourselves. On the other hand, some people behave in ways that leave those around them completely dumbfounded since they appear to be completely devoid of any sense of shame, guilt, or regret.
1. After a few weeks of dating a female, I made the decision to end things with her. However, she informed me of her pregnancy before I could. Since I’m just 19, I blurted out, “That’s impossible, I’m infertile,” in a panic. She had to be taken home by me when she broke down. It won’t be difficult to persuade him that it’s his child because he is easily misled, she said in a whispered phone conversation that I overheard later that night when I woke up. I will not become a single mother in any way!” Needless to say, after she went to sleep that evening, I silently departed her apartment. I vowed never to see her again.
2. I used to work at a fast-food chicken restaurant. A customer brought in chunks of bone, as in they had eaten everything but the bones, and he told me he wanted his money back. My manager pitched a fit and flung his disgusting chunks of bone at me when he said no. © Reddit / whynott12
3. My spouse and I had been accumulating money for a trip. We halted the trip to assist his mother, who was sobbing over her overwhelming debt. She showed me this large porcelain kitty a week later. “Must have cost a fortune,” I mumbled. “The happiness of a mother comes before anything else,” she remarked, giving me a pat on the shoulder. Have you not learned that from your own parents?
4. While I worked at a Thai restaurant, we had a paying customer who would stand up after placing an order, grab plates from recently vacated tables, and consume the leftovers.such as soups with noodles. © Reddit/chubblesworld
5. I witnessed a client at work sneeze into a fistful of change and pass it to my colleague. However, I was unable to warn her in time. © Unidentified writer/Reddit
6. My great-uncle never learned how to take care of himself because he was raised by slaves who took care of everything for him. I’ve seen him do a lot of disgusting things, but blowing his nose with his hands is perhaps the worst. Just his hands, no tissue, then wiping them on his pants. © Reddit / Amy_Art_Lover_123
7. Since the theater we were going to was open, we had just strolled in and taken our seats when I was at the movie theater. A young man, perhaps thirty-five, entered the room and motioned for the small group of people within to leave for a short while so he could clean it. He stammered and had some sort of “disability.” The worker was incredibly cordial and understanding even though she had to ask us to leave. This father, who was there with his three preteen and adolescent children, began making fun of the worker and his speech pattern, laughing, imitating, and attempting to get his children to join in. © Reddit / Fasdy
8. While everyone was eating at the upscale restaurant where I worked, a customer entered and removed his shoes before kicking back on the chair next to him. © Reddit / tryingmybestheredude
9. I was an usher in a movie theater once. There was a time when we had refillable popcorn buckets. After leaving a cinema, I saw a man go into a trash can, take one out, shake out a load of trash, then head directly to concessions to get it refilled. Of course, I believed that any work requiring you to clean up after others exposes you to the worst aspects of humanity. © Reddit/IronSasquatch
10. One of my buddies gave a classmate a pen, and we both gagged the entire time, seeing him gnaw on it. Then, all chewed up, he had the audacity to try to return it at the conclusion of class. She gave it to him to keep. We had been together for around fifteen years. © Reddit/themagicfroggie
