You can’t take chances with your child’s health. In this story, a woman found her asthmatic 6-year-old daughter having trouble breathing while her mother-in-law used crystals instead of medicine. The mom is being told to say sorry after she saved her daughter and kicked her MIL out.

She wrote to us.

“My six-year-old daughter has asthma and needs to use an inhaler and take pills.” She had my MIL watch her for a few hours. Natural cures and crystals are things she likes. When I got home, I was scared because my daughter was in bed gasping for air while my mother-in-law put crystals on her chest and neck. She also said something in a whisper that I didn’t get.

“What are you doing?” I yelled. “Where are the inhaler and pills?” They were not where I usually saw them when I looked around. “I threw them away,” my MIL said. Because of you, she’s hooked on these chemicals!” I found them when I ran to the trash can. While my mother-in-law hoped her crystals would help, I literally saved her daughter.

I told my MIL she would never see us again and threw her out of the house. She told my husband about it, and now he says I need to say sorry. Should I really?”
