It’s okay for adults to like things they used to like cartoons or stuffed animals. The husband of one woman has always liked these things. He has been acting really strange lately, though. She began to suspect that he was concealing a major secret, and the truth was spooky.
She sent us a message.
“Everything childish is fun for my husband, like cartoons, plush toys, and games for kids.” I didn’t think much of it at first, but he’s been acting strangely lately. Putting himself in a room and doing something there became his habit. He also kept telling me I should go out by myself.
I believed he was seeing someone else. I planned to surprise him and talk to him about it. I said I was going outside and then came back a short time later. I looked in the door. What I saw scared me to death: my husband was in diapers and watching cartoons with a pacifier in his mouth. He also spoke like a baby and said “goo, goo.” it was even worse.
I left the house quickly. He has no idea I saw him. Can you help me explain to him why I want to end our marriage?”
