Funny love stories where the characters show their love through their actions

Love isn’t just sweet words, flowers, and songs; it’s hard work that needs to be done by both people. What we do can sometimes say a lot more about how much we love someone than any words we could say.

My boyfriend and I live together. We’ve been fighting over the laptop’s wallpaper: I put up cute bunnies and he put up tanks. A friend of mine came over. She laughed out loud when she opened the laptop! I saw a ring on the tank when she told me to look more closely at it. It had been there for a month! That I didn’t even notice! My boyfriend then screams, “Will you marry me or not?!” Our wedding is coming up soon. @

My husband texts me on our anniversary every year, “Miss Johnson, do you take Mr. Smith as your future husband?” I smile and text him back, “I do!” @

They had been together since they were 15 years old, which is 80 years. My grandfather lost an arm in battle with them, and my grandmother lost her hearing. They were hungry and poor, but they took care of their six kids and kept them safe. When they got old, they moved close to the water. My grandmother fought cancer twice, and my grandfather got better after having a stroke. They loved each other a lot and always bought her flowers. They both passed away one day apart at age 95. @

He was 24 years old, I was 19. I loved him first. I was crazy about him and we had been together for two years. He told me one time, “I no longer want to date you.” It broke my heart. He then turned over his pillow and pulled out a ring. “I don’t want to date you, I want to marry you,” he said. It had been 5 years since I told him I loved someone else. He was shocked and asked, “Who?” “Our son or daughter? I don’t know yet,” I answered. It’s nice to get even! @

I told him, “If we get married, I’ll never let you go,” when he asked me to marry him. “Then hold on tight,” he laughed. We were getting married. It wasn’t a good idea to jump into the lake from a rock. He didn’t come back. I was crying and yelling, “I won’t let you go!” as I pulled him back to shore and started CPR. He heard me. He began to breathe. I will be there for him as long as I live.

He smiled and looked me in the eye. “Can I do something for you?” he asked. I gave him a smile. I was picked up and carried by him. People smiled at us when they saw what a nice couple we were. It was early evening, and the street was lit up. But because I made him mad, none of them knew he was carrying me. In order not to lose his cool, he was carrying me around to blow off steam. @
