My Boyfriend Proposed to Me But Later Changed His Mind

Love has the ability to unexpectedly surprise us. One woman was ecstatic when her boyfriend asked her out. The very next day, though, everything collapsed once more. She wonders how she got on this emotional rollercoaster and is now stuck in this mixture of love, hurt, and confusion.

She left the following message:

“My boyfriend proposed to me. I was over the moon and said yes. The next day, he approached me and said, “Sorry, I think I’ve made a hasty decision. I’m not ready for marriage yet.” He also asked me to give him back the ring.

I was floored. I returned the ring without a word, packed my things, and left. The next day, I realized I’d left something in his house, so I went back to his place. He didn’t expect to see me. I opened the door and saw that he was laughing and chatting with his ex.

I quickly grabbed my stuff and stormed out. He tried explaining, but I didn’t listen. I still love him but I’m also so hurt.”
