Must-See: Viral Video of Black Labrador Rescuing Drowning Fawn (WATCH)

The majority of people probably weren’t expecting a happy ending when they watched a video of a dark shape swimming through muddy water with a deer fawn in its jaws on the “Animals Dying” X (Twitter) account.

They were, however, in for a very pleasant surprise, as the beast in the grainy video soon reveals itself to be a happy, floppy Labrador retriever, despite initially looking like an alligator.

The little fawn that got trapped between its teeth was drowning, but the retriever saved it.

The dog’s owner can be heard thanking the animal behind the camera for the valiant rescue.

Unexpectedly, the account owner shared the video with the message “Made My Day.”

After seeing the video on social media, one person remarked, “Who thought it was a crocodile?”
